Spectacular view of Bentz, the bugler at West Point for many years. This came from a late 1860's Howitzer (West Point yearbook) and I was lucky enough to purchase it several years ago. Superb contrast and clarity, about the size of a cabinet card. Wear to edges as shown in the scan. No photographers imprint but most likely taken by "Pach Bros." of New York. You don't see them this nice anymore!$275.00 plus shipping West Point Cemetery: "Near the northwest corner of the old section is the unique memorial to "Old Bentz" the Bugler. He was a musician at West Point for thirty-two years, and upon his death the Corps of Cadets purchased his marker. It is the only one in the cemetery that is all metal.
