Superb large photograph dating from the early 1890's of a group of women visiting the Custer Monument in Montana. A fence has been installed around the Monument as visitors had chipped away at the monument's surface for a keepsake. These could possibly be military wives, but either way it is a great early photograph from the famous Little Big Horn battlefield. Measures 10" x 8" and is in very fine condition, with a minor top right hand corner bend. No photographer backmark. $595.00 plus shipping |
