One page TLS from General William "Billy" Mitchell of the United States Air service. On War Department letterhead, Office of the Director, dated December 27, 1919.

My dear Mr. Wilson:
With reference to your letter of December 19 in favor of Harry H. Mills requesting his transfer to some station where he may have an opportunity to participate in flights, having gone over his record, I have made a recommendation this date to the Director of Air Service that he be transferred from Indianapolis to San Antonio, Texas for duty with the 1st pursuit group.

I believe this transfer will be for the best interest of the service as it is wise, in my opinion, to utilize the training and experience of this man with an operating unit.
With very kind regards,
Very truly yours,

William. Mitchell,
Brigadier General, U.S.A.

Honorable W. W. Wilson, House of Representatives, Washington, D. C.
